Week 15: Unang una nga bunyag ko (My very first baptism)!

Maayong aga!

[2 baptisms in one day! Pinakanami nga feeling!]
Another great week here in [my] beautiful...area! The beginning of the week was a bit slow, pero it ended great because my golden investigator got baptized and my golden family all came to church and we had such a great spiritual experience. Ara gid ang Balaan nga Espritu upod sa amon (The Holy Ghost was really there with us) this entire week, especially sa buyag mismo (because of the baptism)! After she was baptized, she shared her testimony and one part really stuck out to me - thank you Sister Ventura kag Reyes from helping me trust in Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful to her and her growth in the gospel!
So the family of 4 I have been teaching (my golden family) is scheduled to be baptized this Saturday, minus the mother who is planning on May 19. I am so amazed by the dad of the family kay the past few weeks we have teach Saturday night sa ila (to them), he says that he probably won't make it to church because he has work on Sunday. Pero when when we go to church Sunday morning, he's there and it's such a testimony builder to me about his faith in not working and what he prioritizes.
[This is just so cool, it has white fur, haha!]
In other news, I've eaten duro nga different types of food this week, haha - carabaw mango, inihawng dugo, kombo, buko pandan, tanbis, mango (mangoes here are so different than the one's in the U.S. - they're so matamis (sweet)!).

Also I became a member of Buga-buga!

Amo na, tani mayad ang week ninyo!

Halong kamo,

Sister Ventura
