Week 14: Tapos na sa unang transfer ko (Done with my first transfer)

Maayong hapon,

[Got a birthday card from my Calditaran family! It made me so happy to read the huge card that they all wrote on!]
Oo done with my first transfer, and one more transfer until I'm done with my missionary training! This week was interesting at first it wasn't the best, but towards the end of the week it went really well!
[Can you tell we're companions? I didn't even know that we made the same pose until I checked the picture!]
[Our district and our two Zone Leaders!]
So my week didn't start off too well because we were punted for most of it. Ang buot silingon sang (the meaning of) "punted" is when you schedule appointments to teach and they're not there when you go to their balay (house). So yeah we were punted a bunch this week but I didn't let that get me down! However, I think Heavenly Father was testing my patience because later in the week we had a lot of good progress!  The Brother's wife I mentioned in my e-mail last week sat in at every lesson we had sa ila this week! She even shared how she has been sharing with her friends what we teach her. It has been so amazing to see her growth and earlier this week, we invited to her to be baptized and she actually said yes! I was so happy kay for so long she has loved having us over, pero she has just always been very shy to share to us about her feelings. She has grown so much and I'm excited to see her continue to grow with her husband and two children in this gospel!
[3/5 of the original Ilonggo Provo Squad! Elder Aldridge (the Elder next to me) and I see each other pretty often since were in the same Zone! This was our first time seeing E. McClure (the other American Elder) since we got to Iloilo because we had a combined zone meeting! It was so cool to be reunited with the batch, maskin we weren't complete!]
[It's Sister Reyes birthday today! #22 The Elders in our area helped me plan a scavenger hunt for her as her surprise birthday adventure!😊]
In other good news, one of our other investigators is on track to be baptized this Saturday, April 28. My first baptism! I'm so excited. This Sister was just so ready for the gospel and I'm excited for her journey to begin as being a member in our church and for her to be closer to Jesus Christ as she's ever been! Life as a missionary is great and I love it. Everyday I see blessings in my life and the hand of the Lord is always stretched out towards me! I know that His hand is also stretched out towards all of you too, remember that!

Halong kamo!
